  • Are there specific criteria for the selection of artworks on the website?
    The Artling is a curated site, and all pieces listed on the platform are reviewed by our team and selected before they are listed. Our team selects pieces that we believe have the greatest market potential for our clientele, and we focus on working with artist/designers who have a proven track record.   • I just signed up on The Artling. Why can't I see my Profile on the site?
    In order to publish your profile on The Artling, please make sure you complete your profile and submit some of your works first. After you upload your works to your portal, it usually takes no longer than 1 working day to be approved and published. However, on rare occasions, it can sometimes take longer as we can experience an influx of submissions, so getting to them might take slightly longer. We appreciate your patience at this time!Popular
  • What are the requirements to be listed as an artist or designer on The Artling?
    The Artling is a curated site, and all art and design pieces listed on the platform are carefully reviewed and selected by our team. We focus on working with both emerging and established artists and designers who have a verified CV, a track record of exhibitions, as well as recognition on a local, regional or global level.   • What are the guidelines on providing discounts to customers?

  • How do I get started?
    Once you are accepted as a Seller on The Artling, you will receive instructions to login to your dedicated Seller’s Portal, where you can manage your Profile and Items directly on the website.   • How can I increase my chance of selling?
    Fill out your Artist Profile with as much information as you can. Have an artist biography that can be easily read and understood, with key details on your academic background and past exhibitions. Getting Found Once you start uploading your works, we recommend that you regularly update your Profile. Upload new works to the website, and mark unavailable works as Sold where relevant.   • Is there a fee for listing?
    We do not charge a listing fee, we just have a flat rate commission for products you list with us.Few readers
  • What is The Artling's commission?
    The Artling's commission is charged as a flat rate on online and offline sales made through the platform, depending on the Product category. The listed price should include The Artling’s commission.Very popular
  • What can I sell on The Artling?

  • My works are made to order, can I still list them with The Artling?
    Yes! We have a 'Lead Time' field where you can enter how long production will take for your items. This way, the customer is aware of the lead time before they proceed to purchase.Some readers
  • When will I receive payment?
    Customers will pay The Artling directly for the Products and the Artling will notify the Seller upon receipt of payment. We will inform the Seller of the invoice amount, after The Artling’s commission has been deducted. For Singapore-based sellers, if monies are transferred in a foreign currency (other than Singapore Dollars), the foreign exchange rate for The Artling’s payment to the Seller will be pegged to the date of receipt of payment from the customer.   • Who pays for returns?
    The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping using a recognized international courier company such as UPS, DHL, FEDEX, TNT or Registered Mail. All returns must include original packaging and the customer is required to pay for shipping insurance.Few readers
  • What happens when a product is received damaged?
    In the unfortunate event that a product is received damaged by the customer, The Artling will be on hand to liaise with both parties. We will work with the Seller and the customer to sort out a replacement or suitable arrangement.Few readers
